Bertrand CAZALET was invited by the GFCM (General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean) to participate in the Working Group on Small-Scale and Recreational Fisheries (WGSSF) held in Rome, at the headquarters of the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) on 12 and 13 September. Under the auspices of the Scientific Advisory Committee on Fisheries (SCC), the main objective of this new permanent working group is to coordinate technical and institutional activities related to small-scale and recreational fisheries in the Mediterranean and the Black Sea, in order to address key data gaps related to these sectors and to support the sustainable development of these fisheries. in the perspective of blue growth.
